None of Yahoo's Customer Support No's working for me

I have been trying to recover my e-mail account with Yahoo, with considerable difficulty. I have already tried online and found that the correct details that apply to my problem only flashed up briefly, before going on to another page on the Yahoo customer support site. I tried this with my own phone and then on my Dad's computer, using 3 different browsers. I still could not get the correct page. So, I asked a friend if he could access this page for me on his ipad. He finally did it today. I filled in my present email details and also gave my phone no. Instead Yahoo sent an email to him, but without being very helpful. My friend has emailed them back, but as yet there is no response. In the meantime I have tried phoning customer support, who say they are available 24-7, anytime. None of the numbers actually work for me and one of them says 'out of area'. What is going on?
